Aashiyaan jal gayaa gulsitaan lut gaya ham qafas se nikal kar kidhar jaayenge
itne maanoos saiyyaad se ho gaye ab rihaaee milegee to mar jaayenge
The home has been burnt down, the orchard looted, where shall we go if we leave this cage?
So familiar have we become with the jailer that if we are released now, we shall die
